Five models
OUTFLOW
Food waste in. A liquid effluent out.
A different solution: OUTFLOW takes any food waste, and what leaves is liquid, not compost. The liquid goes out through an approved site connection, subject to local wastewater requirements.
LIGHT and HARDSTOCK hand you dry compost, and someone has to move it. OUTFLOW discharges liquid effluent through a suitable, approved wastewater connection. We check the connection and local discharge requirements for your site.
Insert. Digest. Discharge.
Live aerobic microbes, working at 30–40 °C, continuously. Not a batch cycle with a lid you open in the morning.

Three of the five, by name.
They are not shown to scale — the capacity beside each machine is what puts it in order.
LQ15 and LQ500 are in the datasheet below. Every OUTFLOW machine runs at 30–40 °C, not the 70 °C hold the composting families use: this is continuous digestion, not a batch compost cycle.
Five machines, one output.
Every row carries the model number an engineer will quote you.
| Model | Capacity | Dimensions (mm) | Weight | What’s different |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LQ15 | 15 kg/day | 800 × 550 × 1,100 | 50 kg | The smallest digester. Runs continuously and discharges liquid. |
| LQ50 | 50 kg/day | 1,600 × 900 × 1,200 | 280 kg | IoT embedded functions — intelligent and safety sensors. |
| LQ100 | 100 kg/day | 2,100 × 1,100 × 1,350 | 300 kg | The same sensor-equipped digester as LQ50, scaled up. |
| LQ300 | 300 kg/day | 2,300 × 1,950 × 1,950 | 1,100 kg | Built-in bin lifter for loading. Needs 30 m² of floor. |
| LQ500 | 500 kg/day | 2,300 × 1,450 × 1,900 | 1,200 kg | The largest. Built-in cloud weighing system. Needs 35 m² of floor. |
Power draw, daily kWh and noise
Ask us for any model on this page and we will send them.
LQ500 — reduction and liquid output
Ask us for the LQ500’s reduction and liquid-output figures for your site before you specify it.
Sensors
LQ50 and LQ100 carry IoT functions built in, with no separate i model. Intelligent and safety sensors run on every model except LQ15.
CE
CE marked — all models.
Final product
A liquid effluent, for discharge through an approved site connection and subject to local wastewater requirements. If your site needs bagged compost at the end of the week, consider LIGHT or HARDSTOCK instead.
The digester’s own sign.
Print it, tape it above the tank. Any food waste goes in. The NEVER list is the same as for every MAEKO machine.

ASK FIRST
NEVER

Any food waste goes in, bone and shell included. Ask us first only about the items every MAEKO sign asks about: whole durian, whole coconut, corn, napkins and compostable packaging.
Two add-ons that go in front of it.
Neither one composts. They go in front of the machine, so it gets what it can handle.
Tell us what your kitchen throws away.
A waste audit puts our people on site for a minimum of two working days. We review capacity, access, space and the discharge route. Start with a general enquiry before booking an audit.
