In short

What it is, and what it asks of you.

What it covers
Sessions from a one-room awareness talk to hands-on composting. They also cover food-waste segregation with the data taken and the carbon footprint worked out, upcycling, worm bins and planting. “Eco Hero” packages bundle them — ask us which package carries the sessions your site needs.
Who it is for
Corporate staff and community groups. In a kitchen that means the people who will actually load the machine. Include the kitchen crew, cleaning team and the people responsible for daily operations.
How long it takes
Half a day or a full day, on your site.
How many people
Five to thirty in a session.
What it costs
RM4,500 to RM10,900 per package. Eligible employers may claim it through HRD Corp.
What participants will be able to do
Compost by a method they can repeat without you, segregate food waste properly at the bin, and say what the waste is costing. On the DIY course they leave holding the bottle they built.
Planning your session
A session comes to your site, so nobody travels and nobody books a room off-premises. Monthly sessions are available; ask us about dates for your team. The awareness talk can also run online, which takes the least time out of a working kitchen.
A MAEKO trainer helps a seated participant fit a handle to a cut-down plastic bottle, with a row of adults doing the same along the table.
A session, on site An upcycling session at a meeting-room table: drinks bottles cut down and rebuilt, with a MAEKO trainer on the right. Faces digitally replaced for privacy.

HRD Corp Registered
Training Provider

MAEKO is an HRD Corp Registered Training Provider. Eligible registered employers may claim approved training costs through HRD Corp. The claim is subject to programme registration, grant approval, levy balance and the usual claim conditions.

Registered training provider No. Siri 201601016426, held by MAEKO Sales & Services (M) Sdn Bhd.

Plan the grant application before you confirm training dates. HRD Corp currently requires in-house training to start at least 14 days after grant approval. Tell us how many people you want to train and where, and we will send you what you need for the claim.

There is a second claim-back, and it is not this one HRD Corp is about the training. The Green Investment Tax Allowance is about the machine. It works differently, and it is often described as “60% off” when it is not. What GITA really means, and the eligibility checks →

Before your finance team applies, ask us for the exact programme number, quotation, course content and trainer profile for your booking.
